Happy New Year....

Wow....it's been a few months since I've updated. Writing is definitely not my strong suit. Figured while I'm enjoying the Rose Parade, I'd do a little blog hopping, which actually led me to my own. I'm starting off the new year feeling a little icky. Caught a cold and it just doesn't want to leave. I sure wish it would though.


Reflecting back, I managed to get in a few crafty projects in 2010 and all-in-all had a very nice year which included painting again. Travel wise, we managed to go on a couple of trips; mountains of Tennessee with family and a Caribbean cruise, both of which were fantastic. We also went on a few day trips for local fun.

2011 will mean another trip to Arizona for sure, and hopefully a couple of other places, just no set plans as of yet.

For 2011, I'm hoping I can get focused enough to work on all of the projects lined up in my craft room. I'd love to create a few things to actually sell at a couple of small craft shows. I would also love to actually get that room better organized. One small step at a time!

So much time has passed....

I started this blog a long time ago, did one post, and promptly forgot all about it.  While doing a blog roll the other day, I was reminded that it was here, so hopefully I'll remember to update occassionally.

Friday was a good day for me.  I got an e-mail that Creative Escape was taking sign-ups for 2011. I was going to wait until I got home from work to talk it over with Mike, but he called to talk about dinner plans, so I sprung it on him....and he said OK, and so I'm now registered to go. I'm excited and looking forward to it. I didn't go last year and really missed it.  The e-mail said 2011 will be the last one and that leaves me a little sad. 

I also saw that I won a prize on the ATT Yahoo Group, which has been signed by Tim Holtz. Very nice!!!

The upcoming work week will be pretty hectic, and the end of a long running project.

This photo was from our trip to Bok Gardens last weekend. A gorgeous place. We might have to go there at Christmas to see the decorations.

My first blog post......

How exciting. I've set this up so that I can record my anticipation for the upcoming CE event 2007 and anything else that is important to me. It'll be fun to write all of this down. Today is Super Bowl Sunday. Bears vs. Colts. I'm rooting for the Colts to win.
